PASTOR’S MESSAGE
EASTER GREETING FOR 2008:
These words reflect the light of our faith,
the joy of our hope, the strength of our love. There is no holy day more
joyous then the Bright Resurrection of Christ. The Holy Church names it
the Holy Day of all Holiest Days and the Most Solemn of all, for Easter
is not only the commemoration of the most important event in the history
of the world, but also the most important event for the future of
mankind.
Easter is the beginning of the glory which
Christ beseeched of our Heavenly Father in His first priestly prayer
(John 17: 1-26), of the Heavenly Jerusalem, that descends upon the
earth, according to the seen prophesy: "Rejoice, rejoice, New Jerusalem,
for the glory of the Lord has shone upon you." The Paschal Feast of
Christ is eternal life in the knowledge of relationship with God. It is
the truth, the peace and the joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14: 17).
On this joyous day of Christ Resurrection,
I, Your Pastor, Dobrodijka Maria, son Michael and President Lena Seniuk,
greet all of You, Your Dear Families Members, Friends, and all Church
Organizations, Teachers and Children, Church Choir and its conductor
Andrey Bourak, Brothers and Sisters in Ukraine and Diaspora, with joyous
Bright Christ Resurrection.
On this day of Christ Resurrection let peace
reign among us. In the presence of today’s Blessed Gift from God, in the
presence of Blessed Pysanka, which symbolizes the power of rebirth and
life. Let us listen to the words of the Holy Church, and embrace one
another, and those who are against us, forgive them, because CHRIST IS
RISEN!
ХРИСТОС ВОСКРЕС!
У цих словах відзеркалюється світло нашої віри, радість нашої надії,
кріпость нашої любові. Немає свята більш радісного, ніж Світле Христове
Воскресіння. Свята Церква іменує його «святом свят і торжеством торжеств»,
бо Пасха не тільки спомин найвизначнішої в історії світу події - вона
звернена перш за все у вік майбутній.
Пасха є початком слави, про яку благав Отця
Небесного Христос у Первосвященицькій молитві (Ін. 17, 1-26), Небесного
Єрусалима, що сходить з неба на землю, за пророчим видінням: «Світися,
світися, Hовий Єрусалиме, бо Господня слава на тобі возсіяла»**. Пасха
Христова - життя вічне у богопізнанні та богоспілкуванні. Вона є правда,
мир і радість у Святому Дусі (Рим. 14, 17).
У цей, радісний день Світлого Христового Воскресіння ,Я, Ваш Пастирь,
добродійка Марія,син Михайло та пані Лєна Сенюк, Голова Церковної Управи,
сердечно вітаємо усіх Вас, та Вашi родини, усі Церковні Організаціїї,
Вчителів та Дітей, Церковний Хор, та його керiвника, пана Андрія Бурака
,Братів Україиців, в Україні,та напоселеннях, з радісним світлим
Христовим Воскресінням. У цей Восресний День, нехай мир панує поміж Нас,
нехай пропадуть номіж нас взаємні: ненавить, злоба та все зле.
При сьогоднішніх Oсвячених Дарах Божих, при тій Благословенній Писанці,
яка символізує силу відродження та життя. Прислухаймось до слів Святої
Церкви, та обнімім один одного, а тих хто ненавидитьнас, простім їм усе,
бо ХРИСТОС ВОСКРЕС!
